Summary: Dr. Panda is committed to making sure that kids’ privacy is safeguarded and we aim to comply with all (privacy) regulations worldwide, like COPPA in the US. If you want to know what data is collected by our apps and how this is handled, you can read our policy underneath. If you have any question or concern, send us an email via email@example.com, we are here to help.
What is collected through our Games
For every device a Game is installed on, Flurry may collect some analytical information. Please refer to the appendix below for the exact data collected. Flurry does not share this information with any third-party.
We collect this information to improve performance and reliability of our Games and to get a better understanding of what users in general prefer. We do not link any of this information in any way to individuals or any other information we might obtain. We do not share, sell or in any other way give other persons or companies outside Dr. Panda access to this information, unless in order to comply with a legal obligation to do so (e.g. court order) or in case the ownership of the information changes due to a merger, acquisition or restructuring involving Dr. Panda Limited.
If you’d like to opt out of these analytics, you can do so here: https://developer.yahoo.com/flurry/end-user-opt-out/ Doing this will opt you out of data collection for all of our apps on the device you complete the process with. This means if you use multiple devices to play our games, you will have to complete the opt out process once per device.
Unity technologies makes the software engine for some of our Games. It collects analytical information to better understand your use of our Games and to improve them for you. Unity does not share any personal information with other third parties. Unity will use the collected information only in anonymized form for their own products. The information collected by us is used solely to improve our service and we do not provide this information to any third party, unless in order to comply with a legal obligation to do so (e.g. court order) or in case the ownership of the information changes due to a merger, acquisition or restructuring involving Dr. Panda Limited.
SuperAwesome is a (COPPA) compliant ad network that provides contextual advertising and does not collect identifiers to track users. It serves adds based on user behaviour. We use the SuperAwesome Development Kits in some of our Games.
If a user views one of the ads within our Games, a hashed ID is created from the user’s IDFA in combination with a randomized ID and non-personal information collected via their device. This hashed ID is also used for the purpose of ad frequency capping. If a user has limited ad tracking through their device, then a hashed ID would not be created from their technical information and they may see certain ads more repetitively since there would be no ad frequency capping enabled.
Information that is collected through our Games by SuperAwesome will be available to SuperAwesome and Dr. Panda only and is not shared with any third party.
For more information on SuperAwesome please click here: https://www.superawesome.tv/privacy-policy.
Also note that SuperAwesome guarantees to be COPPA compliant and is certified as such by the KidSAFE Seal Program.
Next to the information collected with help of third-parties, most of our apps also note your IP address and use this to determine the country the device is located. The IP address is not stored on our systems, but we keep track of the country our app is functioning in. This information cannot be connected to a unique device and is never shared with third parties.
Our QR enabled apps (the “QR App”) require you to scan a QR code to activate the QR App. The QR code, a regional code (indicating the country the QR App is located) and a random number (generated based on the hardware characteristics of the device the QR App is installed on, but which cannot be used to determine any specifications of this hardware) is forwarded to our servers and stored there. This information is only used to verify the QR App is only functioning on a limited number of devices at the same time and is not shared outside Dr. Panda. If you install the QR App on more devices, the first authorization (based on the random number) will be deleted and this will de-authorize the first device to run the QR App.
